Any idea on overall how is the market from STR investment perspective?

Does the market there pick up more in the spring as other markets do? 

The spring market is shaping up to be one of the busiest in recent years.

The LLC keeps its veil by not co mingling funds and by maintaining all the paperwork related to the LLC.

I'm a huge fan of San Antonio as an STR market, but it is, like most "mature" markets, very sensitive about WHAT performs well.
