The project will start soon, and I believe it will take that long for the construction company to complete the work on all the buildings.I have landlord insurance with State Farm, which includes coverage for loss assessments that should cover this amount.

Tenants must receive; signed Certificate of Rental Suitability no more than 60 days before move-in, Partners in Good Housing Pamphlet, Lead Free/Safe Cert (if built before 1978), smoking policy for multi-unit properties, Bed Bug notice as you describe above.For Pennsylvania: It's also best practice for property owners to include a lease provision that waives the Notice to Quit requirement of the PA Landlord Tenant Act.

Wisconsin has a 21 day timeline for landlords to account for any damages and refund the deposit, so if your State is similar, could also remind the seller of those statutes and that you can't just ignore these funds (like pro rating any rent the month of closing where you should be entitled to the portion from closing to the end of the month)
