Going to meetups and conferences in a market you live in or are interested in investing in is always a great way to get a good sense of what it is like investing there and seeing how your property could potentially perform.

Also, networking with local investors or attending meetups/conferences in Portland could provide valuable insights and accountability as you move forward.

I felt this year was the most unorganized conference I have been to.

Networking Opportunities: Are there local networking events, conferences, or online forums where I can connect with other investors and professionals in the Edmonton real estate market?

At that price, I suspect they don't get very many students at once. well i dont personally know. but when i was doing loans for Armando Montalongo's students and Nick Vertucci students at the 40k event there would be at least 200 paid participants. and about 350 to 400 folks in the huge conference rooms and then about 10 break out rooms to discuss other real estate niches. 

Nope, I unfortunately already filled up my conference quota for the year - must have been somebody else!

Depending on where in Mansfield this could be a solid rental for UConn or Eastern students.
