I helped start/develop one a few years back in all the major markets in Texas and have maintained them for the most part to date.The format we use is : Introduction - Go around the group and let everyone  briefly (<10 seconds) introduce themselves and why they are here.Topic - here we either introduce a topic or speaker relevant to the group..
