I just did the same thing that you are considering.I ran my own music business for the past 12 years.I got burned out and decided a year ago it was time to move on.During that year I've spent tons of time researching, learning, posting here on BP, listening to podcasts, etc.Like you, I was able to put away some savings to live off the past year and get going with my REI aspirations.I'm 34 years old and as of today I'm focused solely on REI moving forwards!

BUT however, my main passion in life that I haven't mentioned is Music.

@Marco Santarelli @Ali Boone @Chris Music KC is my hometown :) Basically it is the most sensible place for me to get my feet wet.

I have cut listening to music out of my life and replaced it with BP podcasts; great way to learn tactics.

He paid the below market rent 1-2 weeks early every month  for the last three months until this month( his year lease is now up) and procrastinated payment until one day late.He is now on a m2m lease.He passed out listening to loud music after 9PM last night, so after banging on all the doors and windows I called the cops at 11:30PM.

LOL, so you bought Christmas gifts early, that may be your best use for them.I do know of this old book, there is some good psychology contained in that one......but,It reminds me of the musical, The Music Man, where the guy was a "pitchman" salesman posing as a music teacher selling band instruments to kids.
