Hello all,I've just recently gotten bit by the bug of real-estate investing, and for the past few weeks I've been reading books about it and browsing the internet to learn as much as I can on the subject.As far as I can tell, it seems like it'll be a perfect way of combining my interests (photography and traveling) with the ability to make a living without working for someone else, and experience the satisfaction of fixing and building things.I'm active duty military now, and I'm planning on getting out in early 2013, then going to school using my GI Bill (hope to have my BS-BA/Finance finished by the time I get out, and continue to a MBA or go another route).

I am writing essays for schools, college and university students.

Hello, my name is Ron Ahmed and I am currently studying Finance at the University of Texas at Arlington and have the strong desire to obtain my MBA. 

I have an MBA, a wealth of experience in mortgage finance at a macro level, a broad knowledge of the inner workings of the foreclosure process and REO management and I want to leverage all of those things and develop my own portfolio.

His wife was a PM in NYC & has absolutely no desire to move back. 2 years ago my MBA niece left her s/w consulting job in DC to work for the same company but based here in her large home office.

Most are CA  brokers already with CCIM credential and often have a MBA on top in CA.They expect you to take off and produce.  

Oh man...my back is killing me...What started as some basic advice to some guy who pm'd me turned into a small essay.

We got started in real estate when I finished my MBA. 

It's about making offers on MLS listed properties.Let me preface this by saying, Please don't give me a 100 word essay about why I should be looking off-market.

I'm a 40 year old IT specialist with an MBA I don't use for anything and a long standing interest in real estate.
