Most of landlords are not interested in doing Section 8 either, but we phrase it always the same that we will consider all applications as a whole and once we have the application we review it and see.In my opinion, no landlord should be forced to do Section 8 and I don't think it can happen, but you have to be very careful how you vet tenants and decide so you are open to all applicants, but still able to make an informed, best decision for yourself.

@Teekap Pate there is a very slim chance you will find something on the far north or far south side of Chicago on the lake front at that price point and even less likely chance you will find one that works with the HOA dues.In my opinion, you'd be better off looking for condos in those areas that need renovation - flipping.

When the center was first purchased there should have been a 3rd party roof company inspect the roof that did not put it on so they could give honest opinion if installed properly.If contractor incorrectly installed the roof with the warranty then that could void the manufacturers warranty.

That's a good thing in my opinion.

You can absolutely still kill it with a STR in the Coachella Valley, and in my opinion the returns you get here are unmatched compared to anything you can get elsewhere in the country.

It's been 3 years since this post first originated and am wondering if opinions/thoughts have changed.
