We did late last year and it's been invaluable.But for the bigger stuff, so far in the one house we bought last year we've removed something close to 110 cubic yards of crap so far (3x30 dumpsters plus 3 trips with the dump trailer so far), probably still got another 20cy to go in the garage.

Yes it was messy but you dig about 2 ft deeper so any crap goes in the bottom then you put in dirt to stand on.
