I plan on traveling to where I find a property worth investing in.I’m sure I can invest somewhat closer to me but it’s very pricey I’m in NJ.

There is a way of waiving the account at the state level by certifying certain practices but it's more trouble than it's worth and easier to just keep an account open. 

I'm looking to invest in Detroit, and my understanding is that just because a voucher is worth a certain amount, the municipality may not have that amount to give out- as government funds are certainly not unlimited.

From my experience though, and just my gut feeling, for what it's worth, they're just barking at you.

At the sametime when Amazon was $10 a share,  he said he did not understand how it was worth even $10.

I think it may be worth to use that 150k as multiple DP and have 2 properties. you can do that in Cincinnati with that #.
