Transactional Funding (TF) is simply temporary bridge funding usually for wholesalers who need to close their purchase transaction (A to B) with cash (they dont have so they use TF), and then their sale transaction (B to C) closes immediately after with funds from their wholesale buyer (who is typically cash, but not always).

Mike, If you are concerned about, in some way, burning a bridge by having your buyers agent show you a bunch of properties that you aren't going to buy, there's nothing wrong with contacting the listing agents, imo.

The distance of moving and height of the house and corners and turns and utility lines and bridges all increase the moving costs.Unless it is a house with amazing historical significance or charm I don't really see the point much over building new.I looked at those houses in Atlanta 2 to 3 years ago and I just didn't like the product and areas.
