If you want to verify the mailing address and send your sellers a mail piece, this data source works great. 

If you actually need to do permits on everything or just structural fixes and big items (I.e. roof, siding, windows, etc.).

This is far from the market I practice in but it would seem building and sitting on a few of these for 5-10 years could be quite a nice bump.I like the option to buy a 20plex, clear $10k/month and replace income.

I've got about $525K in equity in the property, but lenders have told me that I cannot get a HELOC to access that equity for additional purchases because the duplex was financed as an investment - they have said TX law dictates that HELOC can only be used on primary residences.
