I have a legal question for you guys. 

These terms were provided by the seller's daughter who managed the properties and were not disclosed to us during the transaction.The legal expertise we've received up until this point has not been helpful.

I reached out to an architect that is familiar with the process & he said it could take up to 6 months.My advise to you as the buyer is that the purchase price should reflect the 6 months you'll have to wait to legally rent out both units.
