He's stringing you along and acting seemingly very suspiciously and unethically.Backdating may be fine as long as it reflects actual transactions and there is just an error in the paper work that needs to be corrected, however that doesn't seem to be the case here.

I also had a situation many years ago where there was suspicious activity across the street from us (cars coming and going at all times of the day and night and staying for 5 minutes or so) I didn't figure it was an Avon salesperson living there so I shared my findings along with a list of visitor's license plates and that situation also resolved itself.

I know first hand, it is not like that and RE, just like anything else is a long term wealth tool.Lastly, I can understand why someone local would look at what we are doing with a raised eyebrow as we brought a new business model to town and those who do not understand the model will by nature be suspicious
