Buy and put in the bedroom a new Lay-Z-boy for her and a small love seat for you and your husband to sit and visit with her.Get a big flat screen TV and mount it on the wall where it can be seen from the bed and the Lay-Z-boy.Install a ceiling fan with a remote, and some nice curtains that you pick out. Then ask her what she has (pics, a small side table, magazine rack, book case, mementos she want in the room, and what she should like to have stored in the garage.Put grab handles in the shower and on the toilet sides and make sure the bathroom lights are very bright.Buy a NEW safe easy to use for an old person space heater that blows air.Get her set up with the local meals on wheels so she has something special to look forward to every day (and to ease your chores), and make a weekly chore out of keeping her space very cleanly.Be careful of in-home and home visit elder care personnel, some have sticky fingers. And respect her wishes for privacy, but don't neglect visiting with her when she wants it.Good Luck!

The real sticky part in LA is units are most likely rent controlled[meaning you are either stuck with that tenant paying $673 per month for a 2 bed in Silverlake, hmm or you have to pay them $27k to relocate], you can not rent out airbnb [But I have an awesome way around this], and most of the properties in LA all need alot of work.

For the mini rehab I ripped up all the carpet upstairs (I counted 5 different carpets between the bedrooms and closets), found out two of the bedrooms had that sticky linoleum tile floor so I had to rip all that up as well.

I think maybe just Google calendar and spreadsheet may be the answer but thought I'd ask if anyone recommends some kind of software or app that encompasses several aspects and with in conjunction te details of accounting etc...Realtor type software/prop mngmt/ flip budget cost trackers/ allocating/task assigning and allocating and possibly customer database/campaign type functions. And most importantly easy (or at least wort the effort) to use as I always end up back to million lost sticky notes. Thanks in advance

@Tony Rodriguez - Too sticky/risky IMHO/professional opinion as there too many variables here and opportunities for you to get half of what you want in return for twice the headache/heartache if you are dealing with tricksters/grifters.
