I think that many of them will be happy with a tiny, cozy,beautiful,[ did I mention 2 of the windows still contain original craftsman style stained glass and we are repairing some incredible moulding] and clean home at a good price.I do not believe that there has to be a choice between making money and helping to answer prayers.

While working in the kitchen [by far the most labor intensive room] I will occassionally catch a whiff of fragrant bread baking or a turkey being roasted and imagine the people [the love] that had filled this tiny house during holidays.I have even attached names to the jug-eared,freckle-faced youth I visualize hanging from the limbs of the tree right outside of the mudroom, and the aproned woman urging me to repair the frame holding the incredible stained-glass artwork in one of the windows.And the names and faces?

lol It's not my taste personally but if it is what's selling then that's the answer.If the wood is still popular versus white and it's solid you could refinish and re-stain a more contemporary color.

When you have these issues you can shave and stain and glue and hammer to get it serviceable, I'd just replace it.

Be impeccably clean, and toss out anything that is too stained or beat up.
