With little structural work needed, the $200,000 renovation budget will mostly be dedicated to completely updating the kitchens and bathrooms, refinishing the existing hardwood floors, removing wallpaper and interior painting, replacing windows and repairing the back decks.

It does need quite a bit of work - kitchens need to be redone, bathrooms need to be redone, hardwoods will need to be refinished and I plan to rip out the linoleum, tile, and carpet in any remaining rooms and replace it with LVP, I'd like to take the wood paneling down and then repaint the walls.

It really was not I repaired all of that painted walls and ceilings, and refinished the cabinets I spent $7000 total.

We'll add LED ceiling light fixtures with light switches (currently all pull strings), new kitchen cabinets and countertops, one laundry area for the two units, update the bathrooms, paint, carpet, and refinishing of some wood floors.
