Use financing, so you're not locking up all your capital, and run it for a year or two before moving up in size.Partnering for experience is the best way imo - because many operators are missing that piece of the puzzle (the larger share of the capital) and farm it out via pref raises.Good luck!

not accurate. example : if your occupation is an accountant and you have been employed in IT industry lets say Dell inc for 8 yrs…and you just have switched companies and started working as AN ACCOUNTANT in puzzle factory ..there is nothing wrong here.

I glance at it and make sure they don't have a ton of very recent debt, but other than that it's just another piece of the puzzle, and a small piece at that.In your situation I would be more concerned about her income, and if what she's saying is true, I would require bank statements and/or tax returns to prove just how much income she is making from this investment.
