There have been many leases lost because of neighbors being loud, smoking pot, etc. 

With that said, I don't want to waste money on tests that aren't needed, and I don't want to voluntarily go looking for something that could slow down or mess up the mortgage approval process. 

Whereas those who are at the less expensive end of the spectrum could even do better. i remember seeing on the news how BBB sold a lot of single cup coffee makers during the great recession because people didn't want to waste a whole pot of coffee.

I mean no pots, no pans, no sugar, no towels, no toilet paper, nothing.

On my end we need to see that agreement and confirm it was executed voluntarily at that time.

Which increases income inequality because we voluntarily give our money to companies like amazon because at the end of the day, it makes our lives easier and costs us less.

So, I think that folks won't voluntarily downgrade their lifestyles all at once.

I did have 1 problem tenant in 11 years who stopped paying rent but he ended up moving out voluntarily and was approved for rent assistance to pay me back the rent he didn't pay.
