The seller's SOW didn't contemplate a new roof, an out-of-use pool in the backyard that neighbors had been using for burning trash and needed to be filled, exposed and out of code electrical, and a basement that had been dug up by the previous owner.

This area gets direct sun, so I'd expect the maximum expansion in this sun exposed end of the floor.

(im currently 25 yo)Should i work for a developer as an acquisitions and development associate, work as a lender for a bank so i'm exposed to many deals, go back to school and get an MBA with a focus in real estate, work as a property manager learning how to manage a property...I need the education so i feel confident and safe injecting my own money into multimillion dollar projects

My concern is if one of these handymen was ever injured resulting in a workers comp scenario exposing me to that liability. 

In all good conscience, can I expose my tenants to hazardous materials, knowing they are either ignorant of it’s danger or just can’t afford to do any better?

Here in most of VT, it's oil or propane only, which sucks.  

If we allow a space heater, it must be the type that doesn't have exposed elements, have a tilt-switch safety feature, must be plugged into a suitable outlet/circuit, and must have proper clearance around it.

They can sharpen skills you already have, or expose you to things you've never even thought of.
