Like @Bernard Reisz said you do not want to transfer funds into a Vanguard account and later to a SD IRA as this will probably cause you to have to pay fees and it will tie up funds needlessly.

I looked up the foreclosure action where the bank took it back.....they had forgotten to name a second mtg holder, we're back in court nullifying the foreclosure sale so they could refile......needless to say it wasn't going to happen for a few months.
