Chances are, they'll want to redo cosmetic details anyway to suit their taste and factor that into their offering price already, but if they also see the need for new systems in the house, they might lowball an offer.I would always recommend fixing the guts and bones of a house before putting new paint on the walls, but you have to be happy living there in the mean time.Lastly, If you want to make structural changes to the house - moving walls or stairs, building additions, adding a deck or roof deck - check with your local permitting office to see if you need a structural engineer or architect to stamp drawings, and see if you need a licensed contractor to submit for the permit.

Although the housekeepers usually throw out minor items and take any food left behind home, guests regularly add new tastes to the spice cabinet, leave additions to the DVD collection and I have no idea where the outdoor lounge chair came from.

Maybe bright yellow is popular, but I'd consider something more neutral like a gray.Also look at seal coating the driveway and maybe stain the landscaping timbers.PS - my wife says that my taste is all in my mouth, so take my thoughts with a large grain of salt!

I chose not to pay anyone for their educational courses which left a sour taste towards me, but when I find a great deal to partner with on (my place of value) then it seems everyone is friendly all of the sudden and willing to help out.
