I am looking to rent out my home for college students at a school that is a 6 min drive from here.

It is FSBO, owner is old school and simply looking to get rid of the headaches associated with being a landlord and fund his retirement.

Jessie - As a GP (and someone who went to school in worcester :) ) - it is a lot harder to invest passively as I want to be hands on.

If anyone is considering doing a FHA loan on a 3-4 unit property, especially in a high cost area, feel free to reach out to me for feedback/discussion as I just went through the real school of hard knocks, but came out with a great cash flowing property!

Old school ways but they can work if you're consistent.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to an online school for the real estate license in TN?

Are you graduating school soon and will you be getting a job straight out of college? 

I've invested in Indianapolis metro area - SFH#1 is in a nice suburb with great schools and SFH#2 is in a Class C moving up to B area It's got a diverse job market.

To note, it seems the only zip codes where the big rent disparities exist is middle and upper class neighborhoods (this makes me think HUD is trying to incentivize section 8 in better neighborhoods/school districts).
