So how did you get punished?

Perhaps they will contact you for it before they look to the court for punishment and then you can return itFinally, get a better lease clause.

Either way, you would correct the source of water and go right over top of that flooring, whether it's asbestos or not, unless you're a glutton for punishment. 

If you never accept partial payments you do not have a issue with the amount of punishment you choose to inflict..

OP sounds new-ish to the industry and probably just doesn't know any better, so I'll respond to that.I wasn't doing mortgages pre-recession, so can't speak to what was going on then.I've yet to be asked for an unlawful kickback in person or on the phone.

I think if you fear punishment from the SEC you should call them directly and ask what you have to do to be compliant with the law.Don't give your entire trust to strangers on the internet when dealing with legal issues.You should also always have good lawyers on retainer to ask these questions because it's their job to keep you in business and out of trouble.

I don't blame these people for complaining, but there are other ways to handle this besides punishing everyone.
