If there were a serious insurance claim, god forbid human injury or loss of life, and they do the same research discovering the non-conforming construction of habitable space, why would they bail you out?

Time to be responsible for your life and make your own decisions.Doing a local BRRRR is challenging.  

Life and long term care insurance are typically where you see this.After a lot of wrangling, the agent was able to get the policy renewed with the correct bank account number for the auto draft.  

He lives a standard young professional life, so no damage or issues have come up in the past 3 years that could break any lease terms. 

But I think your post applies to almost everything in life.

or rent it out and downsize my life to save more.If I rent it out my property taxes will go up to 6% since it will turn into an investment property. 

It is too easy to destroy your life when your work goes everywhere you go.
