Husband gets arrested and we check online- he had a warrant for felony check fraud (from after they moved in) and he spends over a week in jail before posting bail.Fast forward again to the beginning of this month, we check in right away and they say they will pay soon and want to set up payments online which is great!

It just seemed to me there was some ways we could do this that would keep residents safe, avoid bankrupting investors and keep affordable housing options open for people.I will say with 4 city council members being arrested by the FBI today on bribery charges after a 2-year investigation and two of those individuals being the ones to really push for this law that it may be delayed for a long time, but time will tell what happens next.

In my area it was inexpensive to do so ($10 for filing) and some minimal running around from the law enforcement office to the clerk of court for filing.Took two years but I finally was notified she had been arrested on this outstanding warrant.
