I don't think rent control helps in the long run, but I think we'll see more of it unless the market begins to soften.Andrew of course you would know better than 99% of folks on BP about landlording in Oregon.. given your history.. but from my perspective and again I was not a landlord of any size in Oregon.. but rents seem to be very very stable from when I got here in 92 ish.. until after the GFC and at least as it relates to Portland metro.. rents in the last 7, 9 years have just sky rocketed..
