Good advice by @Joe VilleneuveI think Zillow and should trumpet more that they have very accurate data in terms of past closed sales, tax info, etc..They seem to showcase the Zestimate which is usually wildly inaccurate at least in my area.For rentals, I find rentometer to be reliable in suburban/urban areas where there is a good amount of data to draw upon.

This is especially true in a market that has a shifting demo graphic like Oakland.

You still retain the ability to export the data to your next phase of ownership, and have a nice graphical tool to show you where you are in the process.If you don't have a (post-purchase) management solution in place, I'd be happy to talk with you about that some other time.
