It reminds me so much of the Eastern Block under the Soviet Union where you couldn't control your own private property and everyone operated in fear, knowing their neighbors could report the slightest violation and destroy their life.

Just a reminder that this only applies if you meet certain criteria; basically that you need the money because you were affected by Covid in ways that they list on the IRS website.  

I fixed the damage at my cost and reminded them that no further alterations are allowed (my mistake number 1 - should have charged them for it but this was right before COVID and they were already complaining about the high rent in their lease given other landlords were reducing rents to fill vacancies).

The unit is for both of them.Unfortunately l forgot to mention this prior to him and my hubby reminded me today that we have to met her.

I think you need to remind them that rent past due is past due. 

I had to reply to this post because this reminds me of me! 

My title company...despite my reminding them multiple times "don't forget the pro-rated rents and security deposits" leading up to closing...forgot the pro-rated rents and SDs. 

This reminds me a father and son that did something similar with land trusts in Des Moines over a decade ago.
