However, don't know what to say if they say they can't afford it and you can't evict of give a term notice.Think I'd find the caseworker for each tenant and call and plead your case since they have input into approving increases. 

I wouldn't want to plead this matter in front of a judge, its just too weak of a case. 

Incredibly guilty.

At the end of Ayers Fugitive Days he writes that he is "Guilty as hell, free as a bird—it’s a great country."...

Now my route yes was a plead for more space (even though I went from a duplex to a duplex) so just find the right lender and get creative:-I want to be closer to work-I want a home office -the house is haunted-My neighbors scare me-I'm trying to start a family-An in-law needs to live with meFind the right lender and this won't be an issue.

I've been guilty of out kicking my coverage a few times and I have to remind myself to maintain my discipline.

Even if I were sued, I document everything and obey the law, so I won't be found guilty.

If the insurance company determines that the tenant was at fault then yes they will attempt to subrogate (demand reimbursement from the 'guilty' party). 

Innocent until proven guilty of course, but it doesn’t look good.  

I have no choice, feeling guilty or not, it HAS to be done.
