Most do not realize that you will be cooling less square footage and will have less to clean AND a lower tax bill with a smaller house.

I know in the states there is a 6 month cooling off period before you can refinance it.

My places always showed well, had high efficiency A/C (important in a place where you're cooling the house 8 months a year) solar reflective screens, extra attic insulation, garage door openers, etc.

If I can become stronger financially in a less expensive market than I would have if I had stayed in HB, I will be in a better position to move back to Huntington Beach at a later point in life if we decide to do so, and hopefully at a time in the market cycle when things will cool down (although that may not happen in HB).

Where in the life cycle are the major parts of the house ie roof, windows, heat and cooling, siding.
