The IRS has been fairly consistent in holding that a run time left of at least 30 years on a land lease constitutes the same bundle of rights as a fee simple interest in real estate.  

I have been wondering how much time per week constitutes "occupancy" because legally it seems that you just need it listed as (1) your mailing address (billing address, not sure which takes precedence); (2) listed as your dwelling for tax purposes and (3) have the intent to reside there.
