Entire industries like airlines, tourism, conventions, entertainment venues, gambling, theme parks, cruise ships, movie theaters and more will take months or years to recover.

Smaller cabins 1 bedroom style do well in that it's typically last minute bookings by couples so things can stay consistently busy, conversely the big ones 5 bed plus with movie theaters, pools... tend to book further out as the cabin itself is the destination for families and large gatherings.

I think this tenant got his tactics from the movie Pacific Heights (Michael Keaton).

Since most people use reviews to purchase, the resort communities that are fully amenitized with lazy river, arcade, movie theater, restaurants and even Flow-riders are a big draw and compliment your themed house.

When I stay in Palm Springs, I do avoid North Palm Springs like the plague though in terms of lodging due to the winds and have crossed it off the list in terms of our acquisition search as well.Th Movie Colony, Old Las Palmas, Vista Las Palmas, and Historic Tennis Club are a few of the nicer areas and Tahquitz River Estates and Midtown are more affordable but still nice.Hope this helps and good luck!
