I still have yet to do any research as my weekend was busy.The house is in good condition, but needs some updating and the flow is weird, but doable.

It’s definitely doable if you’re willing to work through the details.

Have some kind of solid reason to believe what'd you be learning in that program is something you for real plan to be doing for however many years.Worst case, if you do spend the $12k (there are much more expensive programs out there, so at least we're talking a more doable investment) and you don't end up sticking to whatever you learned, as long as you don't just do the program and quit REI altogether, you will most likely be able to apply the knowledge you did get in such a way that well makes you back $12k in the future.I don't think the answer to you should be a flat "no".

That seems very doable.

However, if you are talking commercial as in a 6 unit apartment building  or 2 apartments over top of a store-front, that might be doable to wholesale as a noob. 

Space heaters to complete the work may be doable but if you mean electric baseboard there are so many amps for so many square feet to heat the space.

I just bought a facility in APril in a town of 1700 people and its 1150 miles from where i Live...so yes its totally doable. 

If its a one story with an attic and basement you have it made,,,if its on a crawl space its doable but more work.
