I will be renting out my current primary residence and moving to the house I will be buying.

FHA will allow up 96.5% financing on a 1-4 unit property for a primary residence purchase. 

My question is would it make sense to save for down payment for another primary residence and rent this home out with negative cash flow to get into the REI game.

As a resident of the Gulf Coast of Florida (Bradenton) we just witnessed the strength of Mother Nature with the most recent passing of Hurricane Helene in the Gulf.

I have no idea what makes you think it's an "executive" level residence but the price and market rejection clearly states it is NOT. - You not there is a GIANT supply glut of listed properties to this one, and then speak that your priced lowest, as if that's any kind of anything special.

I am in NY state now, in my small cottage that is my primary residence, and I rent for summer season.

Here we are 8 years later and the only home I own is my primary residence.

My primary residence is currently being remodeled- new kitchen and bathrooms.
