Where can I find out which things could possibly affect my property's value, likelihood of renting it out, play a role in the house insurance premium?

Yesterday on the 3rd, I went to sign the paperwork with the property insurance agency at which time I was told they put the wrong address on the quote and after making the correction the premium went from $2,600 to $3,900 annually.

I would imagine if you needed to use the home during the time opposite when northerners come to visit, it would be easy to find one of them to rent the home for a few Winter months at a premium, but there'd likely be some time gap and only one tenant per season.

@Michael Temple So a couple things 1) I just turned over the property over to PM, they wanted to rent at 1200 but because everything inside is brand new I'm making them rent at $1400 to start. 2) The house though not huge is a 4 bedroom house, and there is a premium for 4 bedrooms as there are very few on the market.

Premium would be around $250 per year for $1M.The real question is why would you want an Umbrella over the rental property when you have low Liability limits on your auto?
