Just install the sw on some non-volatile medium like a chip or partition the drive and blast the other partition.

So, measure you existing width, then look for a window that will fit in that width and figure out how tall it needs to be.

It is a 1920s brick.Structurally vinyl windows aren't as stiff so the visible width of the sashes tends to be bigger than wood and sometimes that's a problem visually.

What if for example the city decides to change the width of the roads on that street and they take the property by eminent domain.  

Short term $$ is not everything if you are in it even for the medium term.
