Pay special attention to the timelines and the expiration date of your inspection contingency, and make sure you get your inspections done asap/early so you have time to review and decide.Secondary to that, make sure you understand the finance and appraisal contingencies and timelines built into your contract.Your realtor should be able to walk you through every step of the process.Good luck!

Yonkers has always been overlooked but as of late it has been getting a lot more attention. 

We own one dentists office and get really good rent on that but the space does not lend itself to medical offices.

I did something similar, after a long career in something unrelated to real estate and only after I had some experience like you in acquiring rental properties, some property management experience, I realized that if I devoted more attention to it I could accelerate my growth, get financial freedom and be fine.
