These are heat pump units that create amazing heat in sub zero weather conditions.My reasoning for going with a ductless system was partially due to the existing ductwork in the lower level units was completely rusted out and every hvac system was original from 1972!

If you do check in with your LO and you aren't convinced they're out for your best interests, go ahead and get a second opinion.... this guy might not do "second homes" the way I don't really do reverse mortgages, if you call me with a question on that and I give you bad info, I'm not going to begrudge you for going to a reverse mortgage specialist (IRL I'd just tell you upfront that it's not my thing, but w/e), same thing here.Those factors above - high income, didn't max out DTI already, etc, are why you don't see a lot of "second home" mortgages.

I did appreciate the swimming naked analogy Peter, though the tide hasn't gone out in awhile so we don't know for sure who decided to forgo their swimsuit.Though when you look at the blog posts about reserves, it is mostly the serious investors who have authored them.I agree 100% with Nicole's point that reserves help not only in REI, but life.
