I am also very interested in getting into RE investing as well as my other side hustles including stocks, app development and any other opportunity I come across.My main priority starting out in my RE investing career is buy and hold rentals (I would be interested in flips in the future) I am currently looking for a place to live in the Tacoma area instead of renting but the market is pretty crazy right now and I am not willing to over spend for a SFH (preferably I would get a 2-4 unit property)I am currently working on a deal with someone I know on a four-plex in my home town in the middle of nowhere.

I currently live in Ohio, and will be moving (somewhere) out west in the next few months. I have never rented out a property that I own before. I realize there are many potential hurdles with renters, from screening...

We also know Sep 1 is a good window for movers and we don't want to miss that.    

Burning question for experts, especially in Washington state (Auburn, Kent, Renton, Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Tacoma) investors. 

The movement tends to crack things no matter how careful the movers.

Is this Eastside Tacoma Wa or another state .

Curious if anyone in the Seattle/Tacoma area has come across a local lender who may be flexible on the 6 month standard seasoning period for convention mortgage cash out refi's. 

The midnight mover left owing us money, so we knew the tenants were not going to tell us where the mover went.
