I’d make it crystal clear upfront and let them know they’ll face eviction if the daughter moves in before she quits smoking or agrees to smoke off premises.

PM's should ease your mind not cause more problems, state out expectations rom the jump and make things as crystal clear as possible.

The main requirement is that they have a crystal ball.
