I sometimes do remodeling jobs for higher end residential clients, so all the sudden I am the contractor - and walking in the shoes of a contractor definitley changed my perception.Interviewing contractors is a skill just like interviewing tenants - with time you get good at it and you will develop a nose for the good and not so good ones.

@Engelo Rumora  yup Citation 535 I believe.. light jet.... owner pilot.. late night departure into scuddy weather.. the speculation on our COPA pilots site is special disorientation... followed by a nose dive and yet another fatality...

I love where I live, I pay out the nose so my kids can get a great education, that I can have what I have and live in the area we live.

Almost afraid to bring that up (but I just did).While I want to believe the OP of this thread, my nose says some important piece of information is being withheld; something that would prejudice naysayers.

I'd read a lot, done what I considered to be a large amount of analysis, had a degree in business, and figured I should plug my nose and jump. 

Keep the nose to the grindstone and money will come.

What kind of trim (bull nose) did you use next to the subway tile in the shower?

I'd suggest aggressively spraying for a few days, and if it doesn't get  better within a week, then I'd then try and determine exactly which subfloor needs to be replaced.. it's a real dose of humble pie when your nose is on the ground trying to track the location.
