@Tonya Thompson There are too many things that raise a red flags, no paperwork up front, no real estate agent, no title company/attorney, closing at a restaurant, seller financing on an REO. 

Going back to my Marine Corps roots, I spoke with an old marine buddy of mine who suggested scoping out his (and my former) neck of the woods - Onslow County, Camp Lejeune, Stone Bay, Swansboro, Hubert, Richlands, Surf City, Topsail and the southern Outer Banks.

Heck, his hands are often painted red. 

My big, giant, red flag concern is that there is virtually no job growth in this area.

For your safety and that of your other tenant, if you feel personally threatened in any manner, seek professional help, which may include law enforcement.We're rooting for you!

This is an exciting time in the states where these cannabis laws are passing, and we intend to continue to navigate through the surrounding regulatory red-tape to find quality properties with high potential future values.

From that lesson, I have seen the same red flags on other deals and now have the know-how to walk away with $0 expense and only 15 minutes lost.
