Try to avoid condos/townhouses or anything with a HOA/condo fee. 

Zillow, Stessa and several others all offer this free for 7 day deposit or a small fee for immediate.

Equity is great on paper, but it may not mean much when the first position balance has grown exponentially due to accrued late fees and penalties and the property is selling for maybe 70 cents on the dollar at auction. 

Makes me truly happy to see people who understand some of the 'hidden' benefits of CVLI 👍💪👏But, agree with @Thomas Rutkowski in that you'll be hard pressed to find CVLOC rates at present that beat policy loan rates. 

Do you charge fees or not, and if so, at what level?

For example, landlords can usually afford to pay more than house flippers because flippers incur higher costs for renovations and must cover agent fees and related expenses.

If you don't need assistance marketing the property and just filling out paperwork with a tenant you found, many agents will charge you a flat fee that may be cheaper than an attorney.

The loan information is the only area that I believe I may have messed up as I put the total fees from the quote ($6799.91) as the points but I'm pretty sure that would be incorrect.
