This is absolutely a scam and could be an easy tip folks give to help newbies. 

I will be moving to a new town soon that has a much better market for me to invest in to kick off my journey in real estate.I have read alot here, but never came across something like this question.My current landlord claims she doesn't own a property I am renting, but she is the owner of this and many properties per tax assessors documents.She has avoided answering the question about where I send my new address a few times now causing me to dig up the public records.Am I about to get scammed out of my deposit?

If a scammer had to give their credit card and pay $9 per ad, it would stop most every scam.

I'm not trying to scam app fees out of people, just trying to get rid of tire kickers who want to waste my time.

I googled the source and it was an online scam.  

Hey BPIm always giving my email in Facebook groups and I come across plenty of "lenders" but sometimes something just feels off, like it could be a scam.

Some people might be skeptical of a scam at the outset but if you're genuine and explain yourself, you'll get some terrific allies in the business.
