I am currently going to my local college to eventually get my CPA so I have good math skills and a general understanding of money/investments/risk.

I feel very comfortable with real estate and know my skills can be used to start personally investing.

I would recommend finding one that you work well with, is investor friendly, and their skill set offsets yours.

His English skills aren't as bad as that. 

To refine and develop my real estate skills I am always pulling up random stuff on real estate websites.

I have the knowledge of the area, the contacts to negotiate the price, the design skill, and can get GC and local construction going.

Another nice tool was a battery operated metal skill saw.( I have a bosch 18v) 2 of the roofs had hips..

And now own commercial MF.But I spent time learning skills in each area.

It does require skill, but if you can perfect it, then it could be your standard on all flips.

For my part, i let the hot summer day passs and call in for a moisture cleaning for 640sqft on surface between the roof and cost me about 2700$ but  that was the only major concerne for a  1970 bungalow.i would pull the plug depending at your lvl  of repair skill
