If things get to the point where we need to use FDIC insurance so many other things will have gone wrong that the ability of the 5500 odd banks to self insure each other plus the $100B LOC from the Treasury may be in jeopardy.Or at least that's one man's opinion.

The interest rate with this option resets at Year 6 to a new rate of Cost of Funds+3.00% (this bank uses the 5 Year Treasury Constant Maturities Index as their benchmark).

I've met more of these guys than I have guys who claimed they were (FBI, CIA, Treasury Department, "other" Justice Department) but would tell "just me" in this bar how they had the goods on Bill Clinton (notice I didn't put him on this list, sorry, PROFESSIONALS ONLY, no amateurs) for having (1) run the biggest coke smuggling ring in the US, (2) personally murdered Foster, (3) provided the gun that murdered Foster.

Stocks are in the top quintile of historical valations based on all of these measures, and this makes it HIGHLY likely that stocks will perform poorly over the next decade Bonds at 2% on the 10yr treasury, same story, very expensive.I know this is off-topic for this thread, but I'm concerned that folks just hear this "stocks have averaged 9%" mantra from the brokerage community and go with it.
