@John Casmon  The only social media I found when he was moving in was linkedin.

I find people on here and on LinkedIn, and then invite them to a brief phone call or to grab a cup of coffee if they're local.

As you get more comfortable, you can increase your presence by creating Youtube videos and begin posting them on Facebook and LinkedIn.
