Battery, brakes, tires, and wipers in 7 years.

The A/C people came out ( I had authorized them to do the seasonal cleaning and maintenance as well at the same time).I got the bill for the regular maintenance..but on the bill was a charge for 20.00 for battery replacement in the thermostat.

They admitted they were cooking french fries and she is deaf although she fought me to have hearing service dogs that are tinier than my cats...why didn't they alert her to the smoke alarm which is electrically wired, not a battery powered one???

Also how often you change batteries?

I did however have to change out my power supply [went bad] and had a recall on the battery--the new battery was there the next day.

I will need an electrician who can hook up solar and a battery pack, and a plumber who can hook up a rainwater capture system. 

Besides recharging a rechargeable battery (fast charge, no waiting), there are hydrogen fuel cells (refill the hydrogen tank with hydrogen) vying for consideration.
