I have never done any foreign RE transactions so can't help you there, perhaps others will.

All I do know is that it seemed pretty foreign to them.All I wanted to know is if they could close that kind of a deal, and if the contract I have is Oregon compliant.

Let me tell you about the frustrations about a foreigner (although I don't look like one, LOL) seeking conventional financing on an undervalued, promising opportunity.
