Would you recommend that I get a realtor’s license to help facilitate the acquisition of properties for the business, for myself down the road, and for family/friends that may be interested?

@Dave Foster is a great resource for 1031 Exchanges and has helped some of my clients facilitate them for deals I've worked on.Good luck in wherever you decide to invest!

Another fantastic group is the Professional Investor's Guild, where @Matt Robinson does a great job educating and facilitating networking!

He is not one of the facilitators of the group.

Should we mutually find an attorney or agent to help facilitate the deal? 

I would complete the sale and purchase via the normal 1031 process (escrow & title, facilitator, agents, etc). 

@Ian Walsh That's not something I had initially thought about, that one can really make some valuable connections with people in the industry and even build a positive rapport that may even facilitate other kinds of REI deals (flipping, B&H, etc.). 

I would find a local REI at my REIA meeting and facilitate a deal.

And BiggerPockets does a great job of helping to facilitate that.

I facilitate many Hobby Millionaire Charlotte meetings, held 3 days each week plus a monthly meeting.
